Developer Preview 5 – startCorda process fails silently

Hi,

Running through the tutorial and have followed steps to the letter but it seems that startCorda in IntelliJ seems to quit silently after a few seconds? Does anyone have any idea where I should be looking to resolve this please?

All versions used are the current version, or the ones specified in the tutorial. Using a Mac.

P.S. It did work once or twice, I’ve changed nothing but it’s failing all the time now. I thought it was because I had Airplay Receiver turned on, but since disabling that, it still fails.

Found the problem! Turns out you must have Docker open and running in the background in order for the startCorda process to run successfully. Seems the docs don’t mention that!
