Can local deployed CSDE Corda 5 envirnment persit data?

Do we have any plans to provide a local deployment environment for tests like the Bootstrapper in Corda 4 that is not volatile once node is stopped?

The CSDE currently spins up a clean network each time Corda is started. We haven’t investigated making the set up/ data persist.

However, you can reupload the Cordapp code on hot (via csde), meaning you can redeploy the cordapp while the cluster running, which I don’t think you could do in corda 4.

So whilst developing against the corda cluster, you would just leave your cluster up and running.

That is, we dont’ nuke the cluster on each forced upload, but we do if you stop the cluster and restart.
